Road Trip Chaos: A Review of RV There Yet?
RV There Yet? is a physics-based cooperative adventure game developed and published by Nuggets Entertainment. Initially starting as a game jam project, it evolved into a massive hit, selling over 4.5 million copies by December 2025 and winning the 2025 Steam "Sit Back and Relax Award".
The Journey Home
The premise of the game is wonderfully simple and leans heavily into a humorous "dad-core" aesthetic. You and your friends are returning from a relaxing vacation at St. Bรบttin Bay, only to be forced onto an alternate route through the treacherous Mabutts Valley. Your ultimate goal is to navigate the back country and safely find the exit to Route 65.

Cooperative Core Mechanics
The game thrives on chaotic multiplayer, earning a reputation as a highly popular "friendslop" title for groups who don't take themselves too seriously.
- Multiplayer Driving: Up to four players share a single RV in online co-op, requiring constant communication via proximity chat to keep the vehicle moving.
- Physics-Based Navigation: Players must master a front and rear winch system to drag, pull, and leverage the RV over extreme road bumps and environmental puzzles.
- Resource Management: Surviving Mabutts Valley requires players to maintain a steady supply of burgers, antidotes, and EpiPens to stay alive.
- Dad-Core Activities: While trying not to crash, players can grill frozen meat patties, smoke filtered low-tar cigarettes, and wear various unlockable hats.
Are you planning to tackle Mabutts Valley solo, or will you be gathering a full crew of four for the road trip?
